Christmas Camp Information & Itinerary
As we celebrate our FOURTH year of Christmas Camp, we plan to extend the fun of summer camp into the holiday season! We will have two bounce houses in our indoor activity center, as well as ornament-making stations, crafts, cookie decorating, and many of our outdoor camp activities like zip lines, rope swings, fishing, s’more roasting, sports, Bazooka Ball, horse riding and hiking.
Even though three of our Christmas Camp dates are after Christmas this year, we will still have holiday-themed activities during each day.
Campers will have the freedom to choose their activities during the day, just like summer camp. Junior groups are available for 4-year-olds, which includes an individual counselor to guide your camper in a small group. Our counselors will be at each station helping campers, and ensuring safe and fun play. We will all take a lunch break at 11:30 in our heated shop, fuel up, and then go back at it for the afternoon.
Lunch, Snacks & Transportation
Bus transportation is available at Ballard High School. The bus will depart at 9:00am each day and return at 3:30pm. Campers will ride the bus with our counselors. Bus transportation is $15/camper/day. Carpool is also available as well. Drop-off begins at 9:00am and pick-up is at 3:15pm.
Lunch is available each day for purchase ($15). We will have a combination of chicken nuggets, JETS pizza or hotdogs. Sides consist of a fruit pouch, Gogurt, string cheese, chips and pudding. You may also pack a lunch for your camper as well.
The SNACK SHACK will be open for camper purchases. Holiday-themed items like hot chocolate, s’more kits and peppermint cotton candy make the snack shack at Christmas Camp very special. We also have most of our summer treats for sale as well.
What to Wear & Bring
Dress your camper for the weather! We do have plenty of indoor and heated spaces, but we spend as much time as possible outside and there’s nothing worse than being uncomfortable in the outdoors! Snow bibs, boots, winter hats and gloves are all highly recommended. As the old saying goes “you can always take it off.” A change of clothes, namely extra socks, is also recommended. If you do not want to purchase lunch, you must pack a lunch. We have filling stations at camp, so please pack a water bottle.
